Job Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and certified Electrician to play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, including PV installations, heat pump wiring, and general electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and a passion for renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- PV Installation: Install, maintain, and repair photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Heat Pump Wiring: Wire and connect heat pump systems, ensuring proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Renewable Energy Systems: Work on various renewable energy systems, including solar panels, wind turbines, heat pumps, and battery storage solutions.
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of electrical systems and equipment.
- Electrical Wiring: Conduct electrical wiring for new installations and upgrades, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections to verify the proper functioning and performance of renewable energy systems and electrical installations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation documentation, maintenance logs, and service reports.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with clients to explain the work performed, provide guidance on system operation, and address any questions or concerns.
- Training and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in renewable energy, heat pump systems, and electrical maintenance. Participate in training and professional development as needed.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified Electrician with a recognized electrical trade qualification.
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems, specifically PV installations, heat pump wiring, and general electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
